I have to say I was super impressed with The Boulder Computer Geekz. I dropped off one of my PCs because I just didn't have the time to figure out what was wrong with it. They called me same day and gave me a detailed explanation of what they found wrong and my options. I could have done the repair myself but the price they quoted me was fair and would save me the hassle. Now the tricky part, my car died and I had no easy way of coming to pick up the computer. They actually brought the computer to me (I live on the outskirts of town) in the snow for no additional charge! - Chris

As a newcomer to Denver, I didn't know who to ask when my computer crashed and i got a virus. I feel lucky that just by googling places I found The Computer Geekz in Boulder. I wasn't looking in Boulder, but i couldn't find anyone that inspired trust in Denver (in such short a time span-i was pressed for time) and i'm happy i didn't go to Best Buy Geek Squad (they must put their phone ringers on silent as no answer all afternoon long...you get my point). I used Boulder Computer Geekz to fix a laptop screen of mine. My screen had become very dim on the left half of the screen, but I was still able to read documents, etc. Initially, they thought it was in need of a screen replacement (and that was also the conclusion of all the web searches too that I did. My laptop was 3 years old and had a very strange problem, one that can manifest itself in different ways. They replaced the screen and after a couple weeks of it working fine, the left side went dim again. I took it back and we couldn't figure out what the problem was, it was so bizarre and a problem not often encountered. I should say that I wasn't able to give up my laptop for a long enough time once the problem occurred again, and I honestly believe that they could have figured it out if they had the time with it. I was traveling a lot and needed my laptop all day long every day. They refunded my money 100% (even the labor), and they let me keep the brand new screen. - Angela

I would definitely recommend Boulder Computer Geekz to someone else. I shopped around when deciding where to take my laptop in, and they were by far the cheapest. Also, since they are a smaller company (not a giant tech support chain like BB), you can email them if you have questions or want an update and get a response within a couple of hours, if not immediately. What I really appreciated about them is after I bought a new laptop, they were still interested in my old laptop to try to figure the problem out. They actually are interested in solving the problems and gaining more knowledge. I use my laptop to work during the day, and they were very accommodating with my schedule. I was able to drop it off at the end of the day and pick it up by the morning, however, I do recommend that they get the time they need to do a proper diagnosis. Obviously, each computer problem is different and requires different amounts of attention, but they were great with working with my crazy schedule. They even worked on the weekends for me too. I would definitely use them again, and have already recommended them to people. - A

Probably one of the greatest student resources EVER Guys, As a student, I always need my computer. When my roommate spilled water all over it, I panicked because I had a paper due in 3 days! Virus Removal! I foolishly did not update my computers' virus protection and it subsequently got infected. Computer Geekz eradicated the virus within a few days. They did an in-house pick-up, and even added a virus protection software at no extra cost. It was totally worth the flat rate of $99. The employees are very nice. Thanks guys! - Brian & Catherine.

Guys, I owe you everything! Thanks so so so so so much! As I read Josh's feedback, I cannot help but to agree with him! If you want unmatched PERSONALIZED computer service, The Computer Geekz ROCK. 6 months ago, I spilled water on my laptop (!!) and my hard drive started to click. I had to turn in a research paper for my master's thesis the next afternoon. Needless to say, I was in a panic. I called the Geekz, and explained my situation to them. Charles calmed me down and reassured me that they would do everything in their power to retrieve my data. He picked up my laptop within 30 minutes of me calling him and began the data recovery. He continued to work on the data recovery for 4 hours until midnight and when I came to pick up my laptop and data, charles had printed out a physical copy of my thesis for me (as requested as I was in a hurry to get to campus). I am absolutely a fan of The Computer Geekz and recommend them to anyone and everyone. My wife and I went on a vacation and save all of our photos on our laptop. All of a sudden, our laptop crashed. Charles performed miracles with our computer! Not only was he able to retrieve all of our data, but he also was able to repair our DC jack, optimize our system, and remove viruses that were hidden in our system (all in 3 days!!)... they weren't kidding when they said they had the widest range of computer services!! I am totally sold on The Computer Geekz and recommend them to everyone. I could not install the software to my printer to new computer as it still had Chinese Language imbedded in some areas. One call and Charles was absolutely amazing as I watched my computer, as he changed the language to English, installed the software for my printer (without the cd), and cleaned up many other issues I had that were hidden in the system. I can't thank him enough for the wonderful personal service I received with such short notice. I am impressed with The Computer Geekz high quality service, pricing and personal care. - Happy Camper

I'm so happy that I did not take my computer to Best Buy's geek squad! I can't tell you how many times I called them in one afternoon actually wanting to take my Dell laptop to them upon realizing that I had just gotten a virus. No one ever picked up the phone. It was unbelievable. It was not easy knowing where else to go being that I had just moved to Denver, but luckily, I did encounter The Computer Geekz online and unlike Best Buy, they were very attentive and professional. Last month, our laptop crashed because our son spilled water on it, so we know what it is like to be searching for a reliable PC repair team. We called up The Computer Geekz because our local newspaper wrote about them and had nothing but positive things to say! We gave them a try expecting average work, but we were blown away. Their pricing was half of most retailers and the service quality was amazing. We loved the fact that their clients all get free in-home pickup and drop-off because lets face it, the LAST thing you want to do is to drive your computer around. I took my hard drive into Best Buy to get the data retrieved and they ended up formatting the hard drive!!!! Deleting everything on it costing me a lot of time and money! I ended up taking the hard drive to a local computer repair store "The Computer Geekz" and they were able to get some of my files for me when Best Buy told me it was hopeless. I suggest to anyone thinking about using this over priced service to check out some of the smaller local computer repair stores near you at least they seem to care and are not held back by a corporate face! - by JohnStrellty at Citysearch
